Lillian H. Smith & Arctic Bites

In this blog post, I will be reviewing Lillian H. Smith & Arctic Bites.

Lillian H. Smith Library is near College and Spadina, a ten-minute walk from Queen’s Park Station on Line 1. The library has two collections: the Merril Collection of Science Fiction, Speculation & Fantasy and the Osborne Collection of Early Children's Books. In the Osborne Collection, there was an exhibit about alphabet books. It closes on Aug.24th.

This song made me laugh.

This is very creepy. Q is the creepiest.

I have the top book at home.

This dollhouse is from the Victorian era.

In the Merril Collection, there was an exhibit about cats in science fiction and fantasy. This exhibit is not there anymore.

On the second floor of the Lillian H. Smith Library, there is a very small teen section and a big adult sci-fi section.

This was half of the sci-fi section.

The bathroom was on the second floor and it was disgusting and not accessible.

On the first floor, there is a big kids section that is very noisy and crowded. I couldn’t get any pictures because it was too crowded. I got The Diablo’s Curse by Gabe Cole Novoa.

After I left Lillian H. Smith Library, I went to Arctic Bites which is a nine-minute walk from the library. It is also a six-minute walk from the AGO and a seven-minute walk from St.patrick Station. Arctic Bites is a rolled ice cream store with unique flavours.

I got Blue Haze which is blueberry lavender ice cream with whipped cream, a waffle cookie, and blueberry sauce.

It was a little hard but if you waited five minutes, the texture was good. It also came with a wooden spoon and it was hard to cut the ice cream.

Overall, Lillian H. Smith & Arctic Bites were both pretty accessible.
