Barbara Frum Library & Stacked

Barbara Frum Library is located near Bathurst Street and Lawrence Avenue. The library is pretty big with two floors of books.

Library interior with a wooden arch, shelves of books, colorful paper hearts on a door, and bulletin boards with notices.
Library display featuring Jewish heritage books on a wooden shelf. Titles include "Treasures of Jewish Art" and "The Jews." Bright setting.
I was happy that there was a Jewish Exhibit

There are two elevators: a service elevator and a public elevator. Can you tell which one is which?

Closed stainless steel elevator doors labeled "3" in a light green-walled lobby. A sign reads "Service Elevator" with buttons beside it.
Closed silver elevator doors with number 2 above. A sign on the left reads "Rediscover Stairs." Green wall background.

The first one is a service elevator, and the second one is a public elevator. On the second floor is the teen section. My wheelchair can barely fit through the shelves.

Colorful paper octopus and book display in a library. Sign reads "Best Books for Teens." Nearby elevator labeled "Public Elevator."
Potted plant on a tall stand by large windows in a room with wooden chairs and tables. View of trees and buildings outside. Calm, natural setting.
Library aisle with shelves of books labeled "Teen Fiction" on floral carpet. Large windows in the background with a city view and text.

After, I went to Stacked Ice Cream Sandwiches & More. It is a fully Kosher ice cream store. The address is 3030 Bathurst Street. It opened on June 30th. And it is a pop-up that is open until October. The reason why I am telling you this is that it is not currently on Google Maps.

Storefront of "Stacked," featuring a red and white awning banner that reads "Cholov Yisroel, Eat In • Takeout." Building number 3030 visible.
Chalkboard menu with custom ice cream sandwich options, flavors, and prices listed. Includes Belgian waffles, sundaes, and drinks.
Logo for "Stacked & More" on a blue brick wall, featuring ice cream sandwiches. Three white high chairs line the foreground.

It is a five-minute walk from the Barbara Frum Library. I got an ice cream sandwich with cinnamon bun cookies and strawberry ice cream. The ice cream sandwich was too big and I did not eat half.

Book titled "Rubi Ramos's Recipe for Success" stands on a cafe table with a cookie sandwich. Red chairs and tables in the background.

It was very spacious in the back, and there were a lot of tables to sit.

Overall, the Barbara Frum Library was pretty accessible with some issues, and Stacked was also accessible.
